Eric Ledet, associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and his research team have been named the 2015 recipients of the prestigious ISSLS prize for lumbar spine research.

Juergen Hahn, professor and head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has been appointed a trustee of the CACHE (Computer Aids in Chemical Engineering) Corporation.
The United States Department of Commerce has awarded the Department of Commerce Gold Medal to Frank Lombardo, research assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental at Rensselaer.
