The MANE Department offers a BS-PhD Program for Rensselaer undergraduate students with a passion for research. In this unique program, students are able to conduct research during their undergraduate studies, begin their PhD immediately after receiving their BS degree, and get paid to do so.

The Accelerated BS-MS/MEng Program provides the opportunity for Rensselaer undergraduates to utilize an additional 9th and 10th semester of their Rensselaer financial aid to complete a master’s degree. Students can apply to MANE's Master’s Program, following the same curriculum as other master’s students that entered through the traditional route. The five-year BS-MS/MEng degree timeline is achievable by many students in good academic standing.
