The World Economic Forum recently honored Professor Peter Tessier with a 2014 Young Scientist award for his contributions to advance the frontiers of science, engineering, and technology in areas of high societal impact.
The work of Professor E. Fred Schubert was cited by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences earlier this month, when the group announced the winners of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics.
