Congratulations to MANE Students and Associate Professor Dr. Johnson Samuel for receiving the 2024 Richard Skalak Best Paper Award through the ASME Journal of Biomechanical Engineering. This was a recognition for the departments URP, Mechanical Engineering, and PhD student-led team as well as Dr. Samuel who published their work titled "The Construction of Biologically Relevant Fiber-Reinforced Hydrogel Geometries Using Air-Assisted Dual-Polarity Electrospinning". This was the teams first time publishing their work to ASME's journal.
