RPI Alumnus, Riley Bulso, was featured in the Winter 2024 Nuclear Criticality Safety Division newsletter. Riley obtained his bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering in 2019 from RPI, and he then went on to complete a semester at Los Alamos National Lab (LANL) . Riley is now a nuclear criticality safety analyst and deputy group leader at LANL, where he provides support to the pyrochemical and aqueous processing NCS team. He also supports decontamination and decommissioning, maintenance and construction activites, and also assists in design reviews for new fissionable materal equipments and gloveboxes.
Riley recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a M.S in nuclear engineering, and plans on pursuing and continuing his research and work so that this tool may be utilized in safety evaluations.
