Mechanical Engineering PhD student awarded Best paper at International conference

Congratulations to Habilou Ouro-Koura, a mechanical engineering Ph.D. student working with Professor Diana Borca-Tasciuc, who won the Outstanding Student Paper Award at the ASME 17^th International Conference on Energy Sustainability in Washington DC!  He was first author on the paper titled, “Modeling and Optimization of a PCM-Based Ocean Thermal Energy Harvester for Powering Unmanned Underwater Vehicles.” His co-authors include Hyunjun Jung, Professor Diana Borca-Tasciuc, Andrea Copping, and Zhiqun (Daniel) Deng.
