Mechanical Engineering PhD student awarded Best paper at International conference

Congratulations to Habilou Ouro-Koura, a mechanical engineering Ph.D. student working with Professor Diana Borca-Tasciuc, who won the Outstanding Student Paper Award at the ASME 17th International Conference on Energy Sustainability in Washington DC!  He was first author on the paper titled, “Modeling and Optimization of a PCM-Based Ocean Thermal Energy Harvester for Powering Unmanned Underwater Vehicles.” His co-authors include Hyunjun Jung, Professor Diana Borca-Tasciuc, Andrea Copping, and Zhiqun (Daniel) Deng.
