Bio: 
Lucy T. Zhang, Ph.D. received her B.S from Binghamton University and obtained her M.S and Ph.D from Northwestern University. She spent 3 years as an assistant professor at Tulane University, until Hurricane Katrina. She then joined as a faculty in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering at RPI. Her research focuses on computational mechanics with special emphasis on fluid-structure interactions, computational biomechanics, and multiphysics-multiscale simulation approaches. * Dr. Zhang is currently serving as a Program Director in the CMMI Division at NSF.*
