Professor Emeritus Robert (Bob) C. Block was honored and recognized for six decades of service to Nuclear Engineering at Rensselaer with a surprise unveiling of a plaque at the Gaerttner Linear Accelerator (LINAC) on September 18, 2023. The plaque reads:
“With our deepest gratitude for his outstanding commitment and distinguished service to the Nuclear Engineering Program and Rensselaer, we honor Dr. Robert C. Block and commemorate his dedication to Rensselaer.” Picture shows Dr. Block and his daughter Robin Kemper ’79 next to the plaque.
