Dr. Peter Caracappa has been recognized with a Presidential Citation by the American Nuclear Society for his contributions to the media response to the nuclear accident in Fukushima, Japan.
Graduate Student Nicholas Thompson, a recent alumnus of the Nuclear Engineering Program at RPI currently pursuing his masters degree, was recently awarded First Place in the Innovations in Fuel Cycle Research Awards Program in the Nuclear Material Accountability and Control Instrumentation division of the Open Competition.
